STREETS AND ALLEYS

Jim Bowman

Have two people stand out of the group. Have the rest arrange themselves into several lines, one individual in back of another at arm's length. The same distance should be from side to side, arm's length. On the word "Streets" each person puts their arms out to the side,

shoulder high. Each should be able to touch the fingertips of the person on either side. On "Alleys" each should turn left and put arms out shoulder high and be able to touch the shoulder of the person in front of them. The people decide who is the Mouse and who is the Cat. The cat chases the mouse down the streets and alleys. On a signal from the leader, the group will change to streets or alleys. The cat and mouse can not go under the arms. When the mouse is caught, someone else takes their place.
