·use whistle or words "new choice" instead of clapping - more easily heard

·give some reasonable choices, then go wacky

·WHAT YOU SAY, YOU MUST DO! - if you say, "I'll get cheese puffs to feed the fish, THROW THEM IN THE WATER!

·if you say, "I'll get my suit so we can swim," get it and put it on!
