FREEZE-FRAME CLASS PHOTO

I play a game called "Freeze Frame" I have them decide upon a scene and relationships in the scene, and choose a scene to freeze. They then present it in front of the class and I take their photos and print them out and post them. It also works well if you have an LCD projector and can have all of your classes look at all of them and discuss what worked well and what didn't. They really learn about body positions, gestures, levels, depths, facial expression, etc. I think it means more to them seeing themselves up on the screen rather than just looking at pictures in a book. I do this at the high school level, right before back to school night. Since I don't usually have any "student work" to put up, they like to show their parents their pictures.
